I generally use the "keyring" option to read the Debian keyrings; most of the keys on it are only of interest to me in that they enable me to check package signatures and the like. If there's ever a key I want to sign, I import it into my personal keyring. I never feel the need to delete a key from my copy of the Debian keyring; why would I?
