i'm the maintainer of curl and curl-ssl, sponsored by Stephane
Bortzmeyer, so i'm not an official developer.

just few days after potato went frozen, a new release of curl had
been published, this was 6.5.2. this one closes bug #56627 opened
for curl.

well, i packaged the new release (6.5.2-1) but it could not be put
in potato because of it was frozen. neither i fed up Stephane
with my silly upgrade, since he is surely more upset by potato
than me. now another bug (#63461) has been filled against
curl-ssl_6.0_1.1 which is actually in poatato, it is already fixed
in 6.5.2-1, which is the last i packed.

what i have to do? has it so much sense tu publish a new package
for woody, close bugs when potato still has them in?
