Hello, I'm a 'sponsored developer' and I am at the moment in charge of 1 debian package.
I have one question about how my name should be listed: Many countries use one surname, but in Spain, it's common to use two. I see many Spanish developers use only their first last name, but I wonder if this is there's a fixed reason for this. More importantly, my second lastname is "Pérez", with that accent. If I leave this second last name, should I remove the accent at least? I guess some people will see a weird character in place of 'é'. I also see Spanish developers avoid these chars in their entries. And, is there an 'official' way to change your name? I think this shouldn't be a problem with me as I'm not a developer, but I'd like to now for the future. Regards, Jordi Mallach Pérez.
