Thank you very much for the information. I am compiling a package which
stops after sometime saying that "ld:crtbegin.o not found". The upstream
maintainer i.e has used the option "-lc" for gcc. What is the use of this
option? I am using the latest libc6 and libc6 from "unstable" tree.
