I don't know if you received my thread, so I'm back again. At the end of the debianizing process, the following happens : (some messages are in french but it does'nt matter here) ... dh_md5sums -pgiram-mesa -Pdebian/tmp dh_builddeb -pgiram-mesa -Pdebian/tmp dpkg-deb: construction du paquet `giram-mesa' dans `../giram-mesa_0.1.2-1_i386.deb'. tar: uid_t value 4294967295 too large (max=16777215) tar: gid_t value 4294967295 too large (max=16777215) tar: Statut d'erreur reporté d'erreurs précédentes. dpkg-deb: sous-processus tar --exclude a retourné une erreur de sortie d'état 2 dh_builddeb: command returned error code make: *** [binary-arch] Error 1 (Translation as : tar: error status reported from previous errors dpkg-deb: sub process tar --exclude returned exit status error 2) And then, after this, I'm running fakeroot "dh_builddeb -pgiram-mesa -Pdebian/tmp", and it does build the package without any problem. It never happended before. Where does this problem com from ? Rights on files ? Thanks for your help.
