Hi I'd just like to announce our intent to provide Debian packages for OCS We are working on it, packages for ocs-base and ocsexplorer are up (tentatively)on our FTP server:
ftp://ftp.obsidian.co.za:/pub/ocs/web/DEBS Let me know of any problems you may have with getting the packages to install. They *should* work first time, you will just need to edit /etc/ocs/cgicfg.pl. Please note however that we are working on making OCS more platform independent, and more compliant with FHS/FSSTND, so consider this a release to check out what OCS works like, the locations/path handling will be changed quite a bit in future releases. One question: will I be able to get Debian Developer status if I don't package anything thats on the request list? I will only be packaging OCS.
