That is the question. An upstream author has changed a supporting script that only affects systems using a configure option for BSD-style systems.
Should I upload a new .deb based on his new version number, even though the binary .deb will be exactly the same (except for the changelog)? The only advantage I see is that it might un-confuse users about the up-to-dateness of the Debian version. -Mitch
