some notes: - be careful with the version you chose: # dpkg --compare-versions 1.0pre '>' 1.0 && echo $? 0 so you could have problems when later packaging 1.0 A known strategy for those kind of versions is using a name like '0.99+1.0pre' - you are closing #304913 which is not nvu's bug. :) You probably meant 304912 but nvu-dev conflicts against libsprd-dev which does not exists :) typo? Also why not using diversions if only a single file is the problem (just an m4 macros file...)? - remember your sponsor to build with '-v0.80-4' to catch all closed bugs - why not removing the obsoleted xlibs-dev build-dep favouring single lib packages from xfree? - you should probably close also #304522 nvu is building right now, will be back later with more if necessary. ciao -- mattia :wq!
