-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hi all,
I've ITP'ed Mn_Fit, an interactive fitting and analysis program (bug # 288959), and I have most of the packaging finished. I could use some help figuring out an appropriate watch file because the tar files on the Mn_Fit web site are named in a kind of strange way. Specifically, for version 5.03, the file is named mn_fit_v5_03.tar.gz -- there is an underscore in the version number that needs to be replaced with a period when comparing versions. So far I have something like: version=2 http://www-zeus.physik.uni-bonn.de/~brock/mn_fit/tar/ \ mn_fit_v([0-9_]*)\.tar\.gz debian uupdate Running uscan --verbose --no-download outputs: > -- Scanning for watchfiles in . > -- Found watchfile in ./debian > -- In ./debian/watch, processing watchfile line: > http://www-zeus.physik.uni-bonn.de/~brock/mn_fit/tar/ > mn_fit_v([0-9_]*)\.tar\.gz debian uupdate > -- Found the following matching hrefs: > mn_fit_v5_03.tar.gz > mn_fit_v5_01.tar.gz > Newest version on remote site is 5_03, local version is 5.03 > => mn_fit_v5_03.tar.gz already in package directory > -- Scan finished If anyone wants to take the further step of looking at my packaging, that would be appreciated too. :-) It can be found at deb-src http://borex.princeton.edu/~kmccarty/ unstable main apt-get source mn-fit Please note that I'm waiting on the upstream author to get back to me about a LaTeX .cls file missing from the source; until that happens, the mn-fit-doc binary package won't be generated correctly. Also I am planning on converting the source package to use dpatch before looking for a sponsor. CC-ing this message to Joerg Jaspert, my AM, in case he wants to make any comments.
