Package: sponsorship-requests
Severity: normal

Dear mentors,

I am looking for a sponsor for my package "kildclient":

 * Package name     : kildclient
   Version          : 3.2.3-1
   Upstream contact : Eduardo M Kalinowski <edua...@kalinowski.com.br>
 * URL              : https://www.kildclient.org
 * License          : GPL-2+, public-domain, LGPL-2.1+
 * Vcs              : https://salsa.debian.org/ekalin/kildclient
   Section          : games

The source builds the following binary packages:

  kildclient - powerful MUD client with a built-in Perl interpreter
kildclient-doc - powerful MUD client with a built-in Perl interpreter - manual

To access further information about this package, please visit the following URL:

  https://mentors.debian.net/package/kildclient/

Alternatively, you can download the package with 'dget' using this command:

dget -x https://mentors.debian.net/debian/pool/main/k/kildclient/kildclient_3.2.3-1.dsc

For this version I've moved the packaging to git at https://salsa.debian.org/ekalin/kildclient

Changes since the last upload:

 kildclient (3.2.3-1) unstable; urgency=low
 .
   * New upstream version: 3.2.3.
     - Fix ftbfs with gcc 15. Closes: #1097032

* clean: src/kildclient.gresource.c is no longer included in the upstream
     tarball, so no need to clean it.

   * rules: Remove -Wl,--as-needed as it is no longer necessary.

   * control: Update VCS fields to point to Salsa repository.

   * control: Update policy to 4.72, no changes were necessary.

There are some false positives experimental lintian warnings:
- missing source for the .xhtml files of the manual: they're not missing, the source is the kildclient.xml file that's included in the orig tarball, and the HTML version is regenerated when the package is being built. - too long lines for the same files: these aren't really source files, so the warning shouldn't apply.

Since these are 'experimental', I did not add a lintian override.

Regards,
