Ok, I found a few pieces of related software that I'd like to package up. They rely on a program called ZDoom, which I believe somebody else is intending to package soon-ish. It's a very enhanced source port of Doom. I'm pretty sure the binary packages belong in contrib, as they rely on the commercial WAD files to work. (Technically they work with the shareware WADs, but they complain.) These packages are instead for Level creation.

zeth - ZDoom Editor for Total Headcases
zeth-doc - Documentation for the above
zdbsp - Builds BSP trees for ZDoom Levels
acc - ACS->ACC script compiler for ZDoom Levels

A few problems, though.

"acc" has a somewhat unclear license regarding distribution and modification. It includes both a EULA that sounds like a commercially purchased binary, and another license file that basically says "modify it, but don't sell it, and keep the notice". I sent an e-mail to Raven Software about it, seeking clarfication, but as of this writing, have not received a response. Both relevant files are attached below. (The package I'm creating as a heavily modified version, specifically for ZDoom.) Also, I'm not sure if the "include" files really belong in /usr/include/acc or possibly somewhere else.

"zeth-doc" is basically ripped straight from http://zdoom.doomworld.com/ but lacks any sort of Copyright information at all. So I'm not sure what to put into the "debian/copyright" file. I'm also not sure I did the proper sort of packaging for a Documentation package. I *think* I got it right, but, well, you all saw how much I messed up stripclub at first. ;)

"zeth" had a bunch of FHS-unfriendly code in it, expecting files to be in the working dir rather than in /etc or similar. I'm a little unsure I'm putting everything in the "correct" place, so I'd like it if somebody would go over it and offer opinions on what I might change or improve. It's missing a man page still, but it's not neccessary for operation. zeth has a LOT of command line parameters available, so it'll take a bit to document them all...

"zdbsp" was pretty much flawless, from what I could tell. No problems there.

Test packages are available on mentors.debian.net. Thanks in advance.

Issues:
this is set up for a watcom makefile. it should not be difficult to convert for VC,
or whatever.

This is not supported software. But i might be able to a tech question here and there.
