Package: sponsorship-requests
Severity: normal

Dear mentors,

I am looking for a one-time sponsor for my package "c-ares". I'm trying to fix a t64 package renaming problem (#1086734) by creating a transitional package:

After reading https://wiki.debian.org/RenamingPackages I believe the "Clean slate method" applied for the t64 transition only worked due to the self-conflict that was removed in #1081454. To fix the situation I'd like to introduce a transitional package.

Due to me only being a DM, I need someone to sponsor my upload.
