Thanks for package update! I have made an upload. Some nit-picks:

- Could we put the git repository on salsa? Do you have an account?
I pushed a clone and set up Salsa CI for it:
  https://salsa.debian.org/jas/libunistring/-/pipelines/774046
We could move that to salsa.debian.org/debian/libunistring
(which actually seems to exist, with a really old copy...)

- Are you a DM and would benefit from having upload rights on this
package? Seems like you've made a number of uploads already,
so I think this is fine, assuming you are a DM

- What's up with the 4.7.0.1 Standards-Version, is there such a thing?

- The 0700-multiarch-libc.patch patch looks horrible, was the problem
behind it reported upstream? There are no links to discussion in the
  patch.

- Was the lintian GFDL-related nitpick suggested upstream?

- Should debian/files be in git? It is removed on build for me.

- I'm happy to co-maintain this package with you going forward --
libunistring is a hard dependency for libidn2 that I maintain and I'm
fairly familiar with libunistring in general and gnulib which it
shares a lot of files from. Libidn2 typically require recent
libunistring for newer Unicode for improved IDNA Unicode coverage. I
haven't paid attention to Debian packaging before, mostly because I
haven't subscribed to be pinged about events somehow.

- A debian/upstream/metadata would be nice.

/Simon
