ITP: https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=714836 ITP is 4110 days old. I have CC'ed in the reporter of ITP and also the owner of the ITP. I think any progress on this needs to be continued in the ITP and maybe as Andreas Tille suggested, try and involve the electronics team - link below. https://wiki.debian.org/Teams/pkg-electronics If the ITP is turned into an RFP, is best discussed in the ITP. I do hope contributors can be found for packaging this application, as I believe it would be a great package to have in Debian.
