My only question: is its upstream only supporting amd64 and i386?

* If yes, it is necessary to update the Architecture: field in debian/control 
file to prevent
unnecessary builds.

* If no, I am interested in the reason of various hardcoded *amd64* and *i386* 
strings in the
original source code.

Please let me know once you have an answer. I can sponsor the upload after that.
