I both tested gcdemu with Debian stable and unstable and it works. According to your screenshot, you don't have vhba-dkms correctly installed, so the daemon fails to start. Hence the error message you see. > modprobe: FATAL: Module vhba not found in directory /lib/modules/6.8.12-amd64 > WARNING: Unable to load module. These are the first two lines in your screenshot terminal. Could you please investigate why modprobe fails to load the module? Without the vhba module the daemon can't run, nor gcdemu. > With no manpage to help with any needed configuration etc. gcdemu is a system tray program. You can't use it like a normal GUI one. You can't launch it from the terminal, if you don't have a system tray of some sort. With just a window manager, gcdemu does not show up. There isn't much to write about it, that's why it does not have a manpage. However if it's mandatory, I can write one. MATE applets don't have a manpage. https://packages.debian.org/bookworm/amd64/mate-applets/filelist Have a good Sunday. -- Matteo Bini
