The debdelta package is currently gravely flawed, as it cannot function in python3.9 without some minor changes to the source. I have prepared an NMU for it, but I need a sponsor to get it into Debian. It is at https://mentors.debian.net/package/debdelta/ : please give it a look, and possibly sponsor me!
