OK, I won't worry about it too much, although I am a little puzzled why
the .pm files wind up in /usr/lib/perl5. (Maybe something about
propagation of INSTALLDIRS=vendor to the subdirectory's Makefile.PL?)

I have just set up a clean sid system (powerpc, for variety) so that I can
test properly. Once I'm confident that I know what I'm doing, I'll
package other AxKit-related packages from CPAN.

Any thoughts on how I ought to package these? I was thinking that perhaps
Matt Sergeant's and Michael Nachbaur's modules should be rolled into the
axkit source package and split into binary packages as needed along
dependency lines. I haven't used any of the others yet; in the absence of
specific requests, I think I'll work on building a test site that
exercises all of Matt and Michael's modules and push for package quality
before trying to package the other authors' modules.
