Imagine someone is trying to debug this. They read in your changelog "update build dependencies" -- now they have to start pulling out debdiff,debcheckout etc. to figure out what the change was. It is much easier if you just provide details in your changelog. (btw, it looks like you are responsible for most of the upstream release -- great work.
