James McCoy answered: "Individual packages are fine. Given the current state of vim-scripts, that's probably better. I've been delaying updating vim-scripts because of various problems in vim-addon-manager that I know will be encountered if those scripts are updated. I need to get vim-addon-manager fixed first." [1] So, I am not sure. Maybe it is an option to add it to vim-scripts once James has reworked vim-addon-manager and vim-scripts.
