"dpkg-buildpackage -A" <-- this is broken, and your package didn't build on debian buildd systems https://buildd.debian.org/status/package.php?p=xkcdpass&suite=unstable this requires a fix or a new binary upload (I'm a fan of source only uploads, so fixing dpkg-buildpackage -A is my preferred solution, even if probably we will end up autodecrufted and in bin-new queue) G.
