That accent character was not the problem but you had a good point. 0xA8 must be removed: shown in screen as " (but slightly different and round under different charset in browser) 0xAC must be removed: shown in screen as ¬ 0xB2 must be removed: shown in screen as ² 0xB9 must be removed: shown in screen as (block) (but small top 1 under different charset in browser) This is in C locale and Linux console on VGA.
