no, it doesnt. however, this is a much simpler software to use and 
understand. also, the system is well-written and clear. one can use 
Simulpic as a basis for building more sophisticated systems. 
for instance, i built a system that can simulate a distributed embedded 
system consisting of thousands of devices; each individual device was an 
instance of simulpic (modified). i found it easier to understand and 
modify. gpsim might have been an overkill.
