Issue: I received Bug#148113 from buildd (hppa) http://bugs.debian.org/148113 http://buildd.debian.org/build.php?arch=hppa&pkg=debian-reference&ver=1.00
My thoughts: This is not my bug but a limitation of buildd. What should I do? Why buildd even bother to build documentation (ALL) package? Can anyone give me educated guide how to handle this? Situation: Current debian package assumes installing package suffice needs for software to function. Well, for TeX with large source file, situation is not the case. Default is only good for small source. In CVS version, I have README stating: Environment requirement: Setup TeX: Needs big pool size (installed values x4) /etc/texmf/texmf.cnf ... % Max number of characters in all strings, including all error messages, % help texts, font names, control sequences. These values apply to TeX and MP. pool_size.context = 3000000 pool_size = 500000 % Minimum pool space after TeX/MP's own strings; must be at least % 25000 less than pool_size, but doesn't need to be nearly that large. string_vacancies.context = 180000 string_vacancies = 100000 % Maximum number of strings. max_strings.context = 220000 max_strings = 60000 % min pool space left after loading .fmt pool_free.context = 200000 pool_free = 20000 ... Without these, build fails without doubts. I do not know how to make package with these environment. I am in NM cue and upstream of this package. (My name is maintainer field thus I get BUG report) PS: I will not access Internet for next 10 days. So no rush :) -- +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ + Osamu Aoki <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> @ Cupertino, CA USA + -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
