Just a new version would work in this case. Only debhelper 3.4.9 was buggy and it was only in the archive for a day or two. I'm sure all buildds have upgraded now. Nice catch, BTW. I wonder how many maintainers noticed the problem. sbuild has a switch making it do a binary NMU, bumping the version, for cases like this if the admin notices there is a problem. I wouldn't mind a poke; dunno how others feel. You should give the admin a couple days to clean up things on his own first though.
