You can also use the dpkg-genbuilddeps package I have for use at
http://auric.debian.org/~bcollins/
Will generate all deps by doing a single test build, and output them. Uses
strace, so it's pretty accurate (albeit, a few possibly false extra deps
like perl5, but it is complete).
