Greetings: God bless you. A couple of months ago, I indicated my interest in adopting the orphaned package xmailtool. I've worked on this-and-that, and studied -the-other, found out that there is no active upstream maintainer, and so assayed to fulfil that role, also (see .sig). Anyway, I haven't yet focused on anything enough to have actually packaged it, but hereby submit a request for a sponsor anyway, as I feel that having a deadline due to accountability to a sponsor can increase that internal pressure to concentrate and get it done. Right now the upstream package is at version 3.1.2b I don't know whether the 'b' means it was to be a prelease to 3.1.2, or it was a bugfix release of that, so my upstream version number shall be 3.1.3.0, and incorporate items from the list on the webpage for it. Goals I've conceived lately, but haven't gotten on the list yet, include forking the code for the various GUI toolkits, to give alternatives to the (what I consider ugly) rather plain Xaw widgets: Xaw3D, Motif (LessTif), GTK, Qt, ?
