Good day, I took a closer look at the python-pauvre test failure when run against biopython 1.80 and how to circumvent the drop of module Bio.SubsMat. After some documentation reading, trial and error, I managed to get a patch into shape to close Debian bug #1024835 and pauvre Github issue #45[1], and informed upstream[2].
