Hi Mathieu, There are some files put into /usr/share/dcmtk, but other files are put into /usr/share/libdcmtk17. The dicom.dic is put in the latter, but osconfig.h points to the former, and therefore the dictionary doesn't get loaded.
I think I answered my own question about those directories. The dcmtk package distributes those files in /usr/share/dcmtk, and libdcmtk17 distributes the files in /usr/share/libdcmtk17, so I conclude that the files are in their correct locations.
