Very cool!
I need to have a closer look, still, but, yes, very cool, indeed!
I had a closer look, recompiled the dependencies not yet in the
distribution and ... als ran routine-update, which had just a minor
increment.
Thanks again for your advice on nextflow and for attempting to build it!

It fails prior to testing at 1: Task failed with an exception.

This is a bit puzzling, gradle seems not to always attempt to build the
plugins in the same order. I had not yet met this issue but was
stumbling upon groovy syntax errors in another module (because the
Debian-packaged groovy is a bit old) and also upon the issue with
libkryo-java I described earlier.
In any case, the build is still not completed. But I am not really
afraid we can do it. For instance, looking at the issue you pasted, I
suspect there is some reference missing between
libgoogle-http-client-java and libgoogle-auth-java -- just a guess, need
to check...
Well, the version specified in that .pom is "debian". We can have a
joint virtual session on this if you like. I did quite some Java
packaging a loooong time ago and should relearn that fairly quickly.
I would be very happy to discuss it in a virtual session!

Best,
Steffen

Thanks again,
Pierre
