The Debian default is ITP but I derived from this for the reason that
when drafting an ITP I need to assemble all information twice. So
itp_from_debian_dir helps a lot. But I think injecting something into
Salsa **soon** can avoid duplicated work. The first step could be to
seek for the string of the package name (with and without any language
prefix like python- or so).
I really like to encourage people to push to Salsa **soon**. The
rationale is that the machinereadable gatherer is running once per day
over all repositories and is gathering metainformation like URLs,
descriptions, upstream metadata, license, publication references and
repository ids. If you have assembled this please push. We can
reference this on our tasks pages (or as a link in Jun's document
if needed).
