Would you care explaining why you reverted my change. I did document
in svn rev 14174 what I did. Furthermore to prevent anyone from
reverting it, I took additional steps and even left the comment:
"remove build type, see #711515"
Sorry about this. I had not understood that your comment was related to
the "CMAKE_BUILD_TYPE" option. I have reverted the change, and put the
comment just next to this option to make things clearer to me [1].
