Hi,
My host operating system is not Debian, but Fedora 17.
I do my packaging work in virtual machines so it's quite fast
to install a Linux distribution from a .iso file.
I tried "apt-get install -t sid lintian" but I got dependency
issues that I did not feel like dealing with.
I did not know aboutsqueeze-backports though.
Thanks !
Sébastien

I had to install wheezy because

Now I have lintian 2.5.10.2.
Hi Sébastien,
it is probably too late to mention, but Lintian is also backported to Squeeze.
$ rmadison lintian
lintian | 2.4.3+squeeze1 | squeeze | source, all
lintian | 2.5.10.2~bpo60+1 | squeeze-backports | source, all
lintian | 2.5.10.2 | wheezy | source, all
lintian | 2.5.10.2 | sid | source, all
Cheers,
