Hi, I try to build a new upstream version of mira but failed and without having realy checked it also the current version will fail with latest gcc.
The build log says: g++ -DPACKAGE_NAME=\"mira\" -DPACKAGE_TARNAME=\"mira\" -DPACKAGE_VERSION=\"3.4.0.1\" -DPACKAGE_STRING=\"mira\ 3.4.0.1\" -DPACKAGE_BUGREPORT=\"\" -DPACKAGE_URL=\"\" -DPACKAGE=\"mira\" -DVERSION=\"3.4.0.1\" -DSTD In file included from ../../src/mira/readpool.H:43:0, from ../../src/mira/contig.H:52, from ../../src/mira/assembly_info.H:33, from assembly.H:32, from estassembly.C:31: ../../src/mira/read.H:219:5: error: 'Read::bposhashstat_t::bposhashstat_t()' cannot be overloaded ../../src/mira/read.H:163:5: error: with 'Read::bposhashstat_t::bposhashstat_t()' make[5]: *** [estassembly.o] Error 1 while line number 219 in the file in questions is: 219: bposhashstat_t () { 220: } As a non C++ programmer I have no clue how this can properly fixed. For your comfort I have uploaded *.dsc to http://people.debian.org/~tille/packages/mira/ Any help is welcome.
