Hi Gaston, you mentioned in your first reply that you need to learn packaging first. One of the main goals of Debian Med is actually teach people like you doing this. So you are very welcome. The first hurdles usually can be taken by reading the Debian Med policy document

Get a login at http://alioth.debian.org 3. Once you have the login on Alioth subscribe the Debian Med team (or alternatively tell me you user name on alioth) 4. Decide which source code version control system you want to use (we support either SVN or Git - talk with David about his preference if you are not sure) 5.
