Thanks for the hint. IMHO this is interesting for general applications
but if you specifically want to know whether the description of a
medical application is translated, you only need to have a look at the
Debian Med tasks pages:
http://debian-med.alioth.debian.org/tasks/
Every tasks lists packages and in the metainformation is a yellow button
which asks you for a translation or even gives you a link where you can
fix an existing translation. The idea behind this is that each task
might attract experts for the tasks who are potetntially better
translators than random people who do not know the field.

where another interface to DDTP translations is mentioned. This needs
some work because it is a bit outdated and so I added the hint to the
