I was more vague on this than above sounds like. ;)
As initially mentioned when I had a brief look at it, I said that it's
too hard to do atm given that I've almost no way of testing it
afterwards. That's still the case and sorry for not answering eaerlier.
Also given current workload/priorities this is even more unlikely I can
do something reasonable on this. So, if herodevs is an option, I
recommend contacting them instead (after all, they have the "official
patches" anyway as they had upstream made them for them).
I did volunteered though to, within a mass-bugfilling campain, to help
on migrating packages (by providing patches for the upstream parts) from
bootstrap {3,4} to bootstrap 5.
