Hi,
regarding the netlogon fix for samba in LTS, there's a fix underway. I'm however
asking LTS users to send me info about their setup. This should include:
- their smb.conf (redacting any sensitive info of course)
- role of the samba server (e.g. AD DC, NT4-style DC, just file server, etc.)
- if it's a primary DC (NT4-style), or backup DC
- if it runs side-by-side with Windows DCs (including the Windows version)
- any info about the clients (e.g. Windows version, or maybe even Linux clients)
- any other info you think is relevant to your setup
Feel free to respond on the list, or in private directly to me.
This will allow me to cover the most common use cases in the functional test
harness I'm working on.
