Of course. My suggestion is in fact to ignore these issues for LTS. I just
wanted to know whether you as maintainers would have a problem with an
update. And then of course by someone that understand what he/she is doing.
I have started a separate email thread on the LTS list on whether ignoring
the issues are acceptable or not.
