Basedon the autopkgtest results, the 7u241 packaged version of openjdk-7 likely contains no regressions. The files and details of my autopkgtest implementation in openjdk-7 can be found here: https://people.debian.org/~roberto/openjdk-7 There is a README in that directory that provides the details of what I had to do and instructions for making the necessary build modifications.
