I have my own distribution from debian Streetch, and for a few days after an update (I don't remember which one) Debian 12 (Bookworm), once the ISO is finished, and installing with "calamares" OS-PROBER does not run and therefore Other installed systems are not listed. Obviously, this is corrected by "uncommenting" the line: GRUB_DISABLE_OS_PROBER=false in /etc/default/grub. But the fact is that by sharing the isos with other users, they do not have to take that job. The "filesystem.squashfs" of the iso contains the /etc/default/grub with the uncommented line and the "grub" file with the "immutable" attribute (chattr +i /etc/default/grub). Likewise, when the system is installed, the grub file is overwritten by the installation and the line is commented out again. Hogo mi propia distribución desde debian Streetch, y desde hace algunos días despues de una actualización (no recuerdo cual) Debian 12 (Bookworm), una vez terminada la ISO, e instalando con "calamares" OS-PROBER no se ejecuta y por lo tanto no se listan los otros sistemas instalados. Obviamente que eso se corrije "descomentando" la línea: GRUB_DISABLE_OS_PROBER=false en /etc/default/grub. Pero el caso es que al compartir las isos con otros usuarios, estos no tengan que tomarse ese trabajo. El "filesystem.squashfs" de la iso contiene el /etc/default/grub con la línea descomentada y el archivo "grub" con el atributo "inmutable" (chattr +i /etc/default/grub). Así mismo al instalarse el sistema el archivo grub es sobreescrito por la instalación y vuelve a comentar la línea. He revisado, intentado modificar archivos como: /etc/grub.d/30_os-prober; /usr/share/grub/grub-mkconfig_lib; /usr/sbin/grub-mkconfig; Espero haberme explicado bien.Agradezco mucho la atención a la espera de una respuesta.
