Conventionally, you would put it in the normal folder. The live-manual doesn't tell any difference about the two folders ( https://live-team.pages.debian.net/live-manual/html/live-manual/customizing-contents.en.html#519 ) and in live-build's code, both seemingly are treated equally.…
