Dear Tom & Karen Pino Thank you for answering.
In debian10 buster, gnome-screensaver displays a password input dialog in live-system. gnome-screensaver and xscreensaver can enable or disable screen locking in live-confi g.components. The setting is set by a scripts in /lib/live/config/. Where is it set for cinnamon-screensaver? yellowhouse_jp > The difference is that the Live Session user is likely not to know the > password so the lock function is set to not require a password. > > On 11/4/19 9:56 PM, yello house wrote: >> Dear debian-libe list member >> >> I change the way I ask questions. >> >> In debian10 buster, cinnamon-screensaver can be locked if it is not a live >> system and >> a password input dialog will appear. >> In the case of live, the password dialog is not displayed and the screen >> saver is can >> celed. >> >> What is different? >> > > >
