Sorry for the late reply. I have read your mail at least once a week since you sent it to the mailing list and every time I hesitated before replying. The problem is that you give so little information in your mail that it is really difficult to try to find a solution to your problem. You should at least state your live-build version and your host operating system among other crucial information. But anyway. I'll try my best: > set --bootappend-live to persistent It should be "persistence" not "persistent" >I edit the file persistence.conf > with /home, /etc/network, and /union in it, Using "/ union" (heed the space) should make /home and /etc/network persistent, so the duplication makes no sense. >but persistence doesn't work. Persistence doesn't work is too general a statement. I remember an irc help session with Ben in which after a lot of trouble he discovered the problem was the user was using a shitty text editor which didn't add a blank line at the end of the file and the persistence.conf file was not properly read. You can clearly see how a little detail makes a *huge* difference. So please try to be more informative next time. > I probably missed something. > > Thank you in advance for helping me to solve this problem. > Thank you very much. I hope this information is of some help for you. -- chals www.chalsattack.com ch...@chalsattack.com
