Package: live-build Version: 4.0.1-1 Severity: important Hi,
I lost quite some time trying to get a working netboot image with live-build. As it turns out, the chroot is missing all the live-* packages and the initrd gets build without scripts/live from the live-boot-initramfs-tools and thus fails to boot with a kernel panic. I can reproduce this any time on any sid system, simply run lh config -b netboot; sudo lh build The results are as described above. The following workaround fixes the problems: echo "live-boot live-boot-doc live-boot-initramfs-tools live-config live-config-doc live-tools" > config/package-lists/livetools.list.chroot According to the docs, this shouldn't be necessary / happen automatically.
