Hi, you can donwnload the Firefox here http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all/ You don't have to install the Linux version, but only extract the tar.bz2 to a folder with user rights and start the firefox script. Updates are running as in the Windows version - from the firefox itself.
