This week I took up the challenge of translating your live-config manpage and your live-manual into Spanish. Translating takes a lot of time but I've been home with flu so I've had plenty of time. I'm sending you attached the po file of the live-config manpage. The manual will take a bit more... Let me summarize what I did to make an accurate translation: - 1st I have read the rules for Spanish translations at (these are general guidelines in Spanish) http://www.debian.org/intl/spanish/notas - 2nd I have joined the spanish mailing list at debian-l10n-span...@lists.debian.org I asked them for guidelines, clues and tips and tricks. They have pointed me to the right direction and sent me documentation on false friends and typical translation mistakes. - 3rd I have thoroughly proofread the translation. What I have NOT done: - Requesting a review of the Spanish translation team. Why? As you can imagine they are much too busy translating the new release notes and documentation. I imagine you are quite busy too. Well I'm pretty sure this is a good translation but if any member of the debian-live project team considers a review is compulsory, it is ok with me, only that the process can take approximately 10 days. (I wanted to hand it in before Squeeze is released lol) It's up to you. In the meanwhile here is the po file. Let me know it there is any problem with it. I JUST CAN'T wait to start working on the live manual. The better my health is the less time I can devote to the task. Can any of you point me to where I can find it?
