httpFs wasn't a typo :)
httpfs allows to mount filesystems via http and is built on top of FUSE,
see http://packages.debian.org/squeeze/httpfs2

That way one doesn't have to load the whole squashfs image at boot time
like with fetch=http://..., which enables even systems with less than
512MB RAM to run say a gnome live system...
