As you may have heard last week, squeeze is frozen.. that means:

  * live-{build,boot,config,manual} 2.0.0 have been uploaded or will be
    uploaded soon. they are supposed to be unblocked at some point in
    order to make it to squeeze.

    there will only patches applied ontop of that fix criticial issues
    in squeeze.

  * for squeeze+1, we'll be using 3.0 as the version number. first
    versions of live-boot and live-config have already been uploaded
    to experimental.

    any patches for those are welcome, no matter how intrusive.

    note: the 3.0 branches of live-boot and live-config do *NOT* work on
    lenny, they requires squeeze or newer.

  * ATTENTION: the git snapshots on live.debian.net/debian will follow
    debian-next (aka 3.0) branch, if you're building squeeze images,
    do not use -r live.debian.net unless your ready to use potentially
    broken stuff.
