Hi Daniel or should I say 'Panthera'! Sorry about the message without a subject, i was just rushing and forgot to put one in. Regarding the number of characters per line I always though it was 80 characters so it would fit iin a console window, but obviously I am mistaken. It seems to depend on which e-mail client/editor used to create and read the message. Generally messages seem to display OK without the limit on characters, but I know that sometimes the text gets messed up. This client doesn't tell me how many characters i have typed so i have to guess.
Regarding the speakup module, as far as I understand itthe version of speakup available in lenny does not support espeakup, which is why I installed it from the git repository. I think the version in Squeeze might do be I don't intend to upgrade until Squeeze becomes stable. drbongo ________________________________________ From: Daniel Baumann [dan...@debian.org] Sent: 16 November 2009 11:22 To: debian-live@lists.debian.org Subject: Re: could you please not send mails that have no subjects, and could you please use 72-chars a line as everyone else in the world does? doing so otherwise really sucks and makes both reading and answering your mails uselessly hard.
